“UAE Central Bank” Expects Economy to Grow by 4.2 Percent

The UAE Central Bank expects the UAE's overall GDP to grow by 4.2 percent in 2024, rising to 5.2 percent in 2025. While maintaining its estimate of growth of 3.1 percent during 2023.

The central bank predicted non-oil GDP growth of 4.7 percent in 2024 and 2025, oil GDP growth of 2.9 percent in 2024 and 6.2 percent in 2025. The UAE's consolidated financial balance recorded a surplus of AED 61 billion ($16.6 billion), equivalent to 4.4 percent of GDP. Total revenues amounted to about AED 370 billion ($100.7 billion), while expenses amounted to about AED 309 billion ($84.1 billion).
